Kairos Outside Weekend #6 was held November 17-19, 2023.
It was evident our Guests surely felt God's love!
Upcoming Weekend: April 11-13, 2025
Kairos Outside is a special weekend retreat designed to support the female loved ones of men and women who are or have been incarcerated. Families of the imprisoned "do time" right along with their loved ones and are frequently shunned by society and sometimes even their own families.
In a safe environment with loving people, women interact with other women who are in similar situations and learn how to form small groups to support and give them strength for the many challenges they face.
We are in need of caring women who would like to be a part of this
rewarding endeavor!
For information about joining our KO team, contact Anne Waples, Weekend Leader, or if you or someone you know is affected by incarceration who may have an interest in attending a Kairos Outside Weekend, contact Lois Brooks.

This is such a rewarding ministry! From the tears, emotional testimonies and appreciation expressed by our Weekend graduates of all six of our Weekends to date, it is obvious that the guests benefited immensely.
Donations from individuals, organizations and businesses are heartwarming and enable us to continue this rewarding ministry. Kairos Outside of Delmarva would like to thank all of our benefactors for their generosity in supporting our Weekends:
Conley's United Methodist Church
Applebee's Restaurant, Lewes DE
Mr P's Pizza, Lewes DE
Your generosity has made it possible for us to hold Kairos Outside Weekends !
Kairos Outside of Delmarva extends sincere thanks to everyone who prayed for our #6 Weekend, held in November 2023.
We ask for continued prayer for our upcoming Weekend (date to be determined).
Sadly, we needed to postpone Kairos Outside’s Weekend of November 15-17, 2024 due to circumstances beyond our control. Several volunteers were unable to remain on and dropped from the team just before our first scheduled Team Formation meeting, causing a shortage of essential positions.
It was not God’s time.
